Maker Bubble is the library's new initiative to promote a maker culture in the CUHK community. Situated in the IT Zone of the Learning Garden, the Maker Bubble provides various fabrication facilities as well as a co-working space for 8 to 10 people for creating, learning, exploring and sharing new ideas.

To support the new services provided by the Maker Bubble, such as the self-service 3D Printing and Scanning, the Library is pleased to organize an Open House for the Maker Bubble. Details are as follows:

Date:     Feb 22 (Wed) and Feb 23 (Thu)
Time:    1 p.m. to 3 p.m. & 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Venue:   Maker Bubble, Learning Garden, LG/F, University Library
All CUHK students and staff are welcome

Light refreshment will be provided.

Activities include:
• 3D Printers Technology Introduction and Printing Demonstration
• How to Use Tinkercad 3D Design Software
• 3D Scanners Introduction and Demonstration
• Free trial of 3D printing and scanning
 (this event is also supported by the 3D Printing Interest Group)
